From Burgh to Borough

From Burgh to Borough: Queens Enters the 20th Century features more than 75 photographs from the Long Island Division collection of the Queens Borough Public Library.

This exhibition illustrates how Queens evolved from a county of farms and loosely connected villages into a densely populated network of residential communities and a major transportation gateway.
