Universal Language: The Art of Papercutting features more than fifty-five original papercuts from the members of The Guild of American Papercutters. Original papercutting designs are hand-cut by the artist using only simple cutting tools and paper. No patterns are used; all designs are artist originals. Some artists draw onto paper before cutting; other artists cut paper freehand. Universal Language showcases the creativity of the human spirit.
