The tradition of egg decorating touches many cultures
and spans thousands of years. The Eggs as Art: A
Contemporary View of Ethnic Traditions
exhibition
features decorated folk art eggs and decorative ware
from all over the world. In addition, the exhibition will
showcase the work of Paula Hare, a contemporary
Wisconsin artist whose eggs and eggshell mosaics
have been influenced by European and Asian egg
decorating traditions.

The Eggs as Art exhibition is sponsored by the Queens
Library Gallery, Jeanne Hare and Hare Strigenz Design,
Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
