Established in 1995, the Queens Library Gallery is an adjunct to the Queens Borough Public Library, which serves the neighborhoods of Queens, New York, the country's most culturally diverse community. Located in the Central Library in Jamaica, the Gallery provides valuable educational and cultural programs through a regular schedule of exhibitions focusing on the intersection of art, history and international cultures. Our mission is to foster an awareness and appreciation of the visual arts and encourage an understanding and sensitivity for the arts in the greater community.
