How do I access the Research Databases?

Click on Research on the top menu, and then select the Articles & Databases page.

What are “Databases”? What do I use them for?

An online database is a premium informational resource available online that Queens Library pays for so you can use it either at one of our community libraries or at home on your computer. Databases usually contain online encyclopedias, magazines and journal articles.

Do I get charged for using the online databases with newspaper and magazine articles?

No. Databases are paid for by the library so that you can access them for free. For more information, visit the Articles & Databases page.
