Comet Program with Intrepid Museum

Space science is brought down to Earth as we examine one of the smaller bodies in our solar system, comets. We’ll explore why comets have tails, what they are made of and how they can tell us about the origin of life on our planet. Through the use of dry ice and household materials, we’ll create our own comet and see what secrets may be revealed!

Defensive Driving

This AARP class is open to anyone with a valid driver's license. There is a fee because it is offered by the AARP, and preregistration is required. For more information or to preregister call Cicely at AARP at 718-276-6790 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. The class runs for seven hours, with a break.
