NYPD Community Forum for Queens Immigrants

Members of the NYPD's 114th Precinct and New Immigrant Outreach Unit will explain how to get help resolving community issues and discuss youth programs. Members of Immigration Advocacy Services and Emerald Isle Immigration Center will also speak. Translation into Albanian, Arabic, Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian will be provided.

Windowfarm is a vertical, indoor, hydroponic garden in which, with natural light, the climate control of your living space, and organic “liquid soil,” plants can grow year-round. Learn how to build a do-it-yourself version of a Windowfarm in this hands-on workshop. The Windowfarm that we build will be given away to one workshop participant.
