Jazz Dance With the Apollo Theater

Location: East Elmhurst
Registration: Not required

Jazz music history comes to life in this energetic workshop series. Working with Apollo Theater Teaching Artist, Dana Rainey, the students will bring to life a Louis Armstrong storybook through dance and movement. Students will learn the origins and movements of historic jazz dances. To culminate the series, the students will present what they’ve learned.

These programs are funded by the Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation.
