Get Free Help with Your Taxes!

Location: East Elmhurst
Registration: Not required

Sign up to get FREE help with electronic filing. If your income is under $60,000 per year then you qualify to receive assistance from New York State Tax Department volunteers. Volunteers will be available to provide FREE guidance to taxpayers who are electronically preparing and filing their own personal income tax returns. Sign up at Queens Library @ East Elmhurst. Volunteers will be available that speak English and Spanish.

After this workshop, you will have the basic skills to begin to navigate the Internet. Topics covered include Internet terminology, how to use a web browser, the basic structure of a website and how to search the Internet safely. While this is an introductory class, it is recommended that you have basic mouse and keyboarding skills.
