Middle School Maker Lab

For children in grades 6-8. Middle schoolers are invited to join us this fall in our new Middle School Maker Lab. We'll be combining the latest technology (tablets, robotics, circuitry, coding and more!) with traditional arts and crafts materials to build exciting new designs and experiments. Film Screening and Discussion of "Three Trembling Cities" with Writer-Director Arthur Vincie

Enjoy a screening of the first season of this webseries that follows the fictional lives of NYC immigrants struggling with work, friends, romance, and family expectations. Overshadowing their efforts is their often uncertain status - culturally, emotionally, and legally. Each episode concludes with interviews with immigrants who have faced similar issues. Q & A with filmmaker Arthur Vincie and cast members after the screening.
