Winter and Holiday Arts and Crafts

Location: Broadway
Registration: Registration is not yet open for this program. Please check back closer to the program date.

Children ages 6-12 will make a snowflake wreath (12/5), create a winter-theme painting (12/12) and decorate Christmas stocking (12/19). Preregistration is required at the Children’s Reference Desk or by calling 718-721-2462.

Toddler Time

Location: Broadway
Registration: Not required

Join us for a 30-minute storytime with books, songs and fingerplays for toddlers ages 2-4 years. A parent or other adult caregiver must also attend. Please arrive on time; the program starts promptly at 10:30AM and latecomers will not be accommodated.

Spelling Bee

Location: Broadway
Registration: Online or by phone
Availability: 50 openings

Participants will be divided into 3 categories: grades 2 and 3, grades 4 and 5, and grades 6 and 7. The winners in each category will receive a special prize and automatically enter the Spelling Bee Grand Finale at Queens Central Library in April. There are great prizes for the winners and lots of fun for everyone!
