Mirelle Netelle leads a beginner's course in Tai Chi for health and well-being. Tai chi is a Chinese martial art and is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Tai Chi is now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements.

Three Dimensional Origami Workshop

Location: Woodside

In this 3-session origami workshop (1 session per week), you will use origami and paper engineering techniques to make different types of 3-dimensional geometric shapes such as cubes, rectangular prisms and domes. Everything you make is yours to take home. The shapes can be used to store things.
