Natural Cosmetics and Skin Care Products

How to look beyond fab when you have little money and no desire to put icky chemicals on your face? Learn to make cleansers, toners, moisturizers and a host of cosmetics, including lip gloss and eye shadow, with natural ingredients found in the kitchen! You must be age 12 or older to participate in this workshop.

The Rose That Grew from Concrete

Location: Pomonok

This program is geared to teens and anyone else interested in the work of Tupac Shakur, a man who sold over 70 million albums, was selected by MTV as one of the world's 50 greatest rappers, lived and died in the throes of controversy, and wrote some of our generation's most astute poetry. We will read Tupac's poetry, write poetry in the Tupac style, listen to his music and talk to special guests who worked with him. Light refreshments will be served.

Cupcake Decorating Workshop

Recycled Jeans Bag

Location: Pomonok
Registration: Registration is not yet open for this program. Please check back closer to the program date.

In this sewing project, participants will learn how to recycle old jeans into stylish purses, with the option of adding fabric trims and lace. Participants must provide their own jeans to recycle. Preregistration is required.
