Bring your child ages 18-36 months for a Little TLC! Play and learn with your child in a free, five-session workshop that include toys, games, puzzles and other items specifically selected to enhance a toddler's educational and physical development. Preregistration is required.

Humane Education with Cats & Dogs

Location: Glen Oaks
Registration: Registration is not yet open for this program. Please check back closer to the program date.

Children will explore various ways to treat animals with kindness and compassion. They will recognize cat and dog body languages, which is one way their pet shows its feelings. They are taught the "rules" of pet ownership, responsibility and kindness. A hands-on activity and fun worksheet follow the presentation. for ages 4-10. Space is limited. Pre-Registration is required.

Cool Rainforest Connections with Central Park Zoo

Location: Glen Oaks
Registration: Not required

Children will go on an adventure with superhero, Captain Cocoa, who is convinced he can save the rainforest. Children learn about the rainforest habitat and simple conservation actions. For Grades K-3.
