2015 Summer Reading Program

Join the action this summer and have a blast at the Summer Reading Program at Queens Library. This summer celebrate real-life and fictional heroes, cool books, popular fantasy and graphic novels to the latest in your favorite series.

Maker Camp 2015 at Queens Library

Maker Camp is a free summer program for kids ages 8 to 12, and Makers of all ages! Join young inventors and artists from around the world too. We make awesome projects, go on epic virtual “field trips,” and meet the world’s coolest makers.

Free Summer Meals

Queens Library is partnering with the NYC Department of Education to provide FREE meals for kids and teens all summer long.

Summer meals are open to all children, 18 and younger, from now until September 4 at twenty-one Queens Library locations.

Summer Meals 2015

The Summer Meals Program provides children nutritious meals when school is not in session. Queens Library will offer summer meals from June 29th to September 4th from 1 - 2 PM at select community libraries.

City Sticks with Freddy Dugard

Freddy Dugard will introduce various rhythms, beats, music notes and percussion sounds to kids ages 6 to 12. Participants will show what they learned in a short demonstration.
