2015 Summer Reading Program

Join the action this summer and have a blast at the Summer Reading Program at Queens Library. This summer celebrate real-life and fictional heroes, cool books, popular fantasy and graphic novels to the latest in your favorite series.

Free Summer Meals

Queens Library is partnering with the NYC Department of Education to provide FREE meals for kids and teens all summer long.

Summer meals are open to all children, 18 and younger, from now until September 4 at twenty-one Queens Library locations.

Create Your Own Graphic Novel

Location: Bellerose
Registration: Registration is not yet open for this program. Please check back closer to the program date.
Details: Customers are required to attend all sessions of this program. Registering for this session will reserve your spot for the entire program.

Teens in grades 7-12 will create their own characters and storyline. Materials will be provided. Preregistration is required.

Teen Advisory Group

Location: Bellerose
Registration: Not required

Teens in grades 7-12 hang out together at the library every third Friday of the month. There will be different activities each day, including Wii console games, crafts and movies, with plenty of time left to discuss your favorite books and movies. Feel free to bring friends!
