Bilingual Story Time (English/spanish)

Interested in your toddler learning Spanish or gaining basic literacy skills? Then this is a program for you! Your toddler will be introduced to stories and songs in English and Spanish. We also play games and color or make crafts. Walk-ins welcomed.

Broken Heart Week: Screening "Whisper of the Heart"

Location: Astoria
Registration: Not required

Join us at the Astoria Library for a screening of Miyazaki's "Whisper of the Heart". This Studio Ghibli classic will be screened in the original Japanese - with English subtitles. The movie is about a school girl (Shizuku) who starts off on an exciting adventure, which carries her far beyond the boundaries of her imagination.
