American Sign Language II

Open Mic for Poets

Among the poetry collections of featured reader Kathleen Ossip are "The Do-Over" and "The Cold War," chosen one of the best books of 2011 by "Publishers Weekly." She has published poems in "Best American Poetry," "Best American Magazine Writing," "Washington Post," "Paris Review," "Poetry," "The Believer," "A Public Space" and "Poetry Review" (London). She teaches at The New School and online for The Poetry School of London and has received a fellowship from the New York Foundation for the Arts.

Catapult Lab 2015: For Teens

Location: Central Library
Registration: Not required

Teens couldn’t get enough of Catapult Lab last summer, and now it is back! Participants will make all new mini-launchers from common office supplies and test them out with mini-marshmallows. This program is only for teens in grades 7-12. Space is limited!
