The Intrepid Museum Presents High Flying Design

Kids Can Cook, Too!

Food educator and local Astoria resident Stacey Ornstein will teach us how to chop, grate, blend and roll our way to a delicious seasonal dish. Together, we will explore the joys of cooking, develop cooking skills and learn about new ingredients and world cultures through food. Parents are welcome to join in the fun. For children ages 6-12.

Geometry through Dance

Participants will choreograph their own dances, moving their bodies in various shapes based on mathematical principals of rotation and angles. They will then learn to graph these motions onto a coordinate system. Come move your bodies to XYZ axis on the dance floor!
